Keep you and your family safe this winter by staying off community storm ponds.
Although they may look inviting for a skate, ice on these ponds can be unstable even when it looks solid and is unsafe for any winter activity. This winter, temporary fencing will be in place near some of the access points to the storm pond near Buffalo Rubbing Stone School. For your safety, please respect the fencing and stay off the ice.
Instead, find a safe City or community outdoor skating rink near you at Calgary.ca/rinks
