Winter Maintenance Program

Snow Removal

The Panorama Hills Residents Association has been working closely with the City of Calgary over the years to have additional of pathways cleared and maintained during the winter.

In the 2024-2025 winter season, we will see the largest amount of pathways cleared by the City of Calgary and the PHRA.

The City of Calgary will plow and maintain over 30 km of pathway which includes all regional pathways and most parks.

The PHRA will plow and maintain the community centre, 38 Direct Control sites and about 10 km of additional pathways.

Having additional pathways cleared of ice and snow will make it safer for everyone and increase community walkability during the winter months. Please note that not all pathways in Panorama Hills will be cleared due to pathway width and safety issues with the use of snow clearing equipment. This map shows the City of Calgary controlled pathways that will be maintained throughout the winter months.
