Your Panorama Hills Community Centre is bringing the park experience into the neighborhood! Throughout the year, your PHCC plans and executes many member-exclusive special activities and events to engage with our ever-growing diverse community targeting families, teens, adults, and seniors. All Events will be located in community spaces NOT in the Panorama Hills Community Centre.

Snowshoe Workshop – 55 Panora Rise NW
Saturday, Jan 18 – 12pm to 1.30pm
Please Arrive 15 mins early
Learn how to snowshoe right in your own backyard! This 1.5-hour introduction will introduce you to the fundamentals of snowshoeing at a park in Panorama Hills. Our youth-size snowshoes fit about a shoe size 1 & up. The age limit is done out of consideration of the available equipment as well as ensuring participants can understand and follow instructor’s guidance. This workshop will be run at a local park in Panorama Hills. Location details will be sent via email 1 week before the workshop commences to account for weather conditions.
Please meet the instructor at the location 20 minutes prior to the activity.

Cross Country Skiing Workshop – 55 Panora Rise NW
Saturday, Jan 25 – 1PM to 4PM
Please Arrive 15 mins early
Learn how to Cross Country ski right in your own backyard! This 3-hour introduction to cross country skiing will teach you balance and basic movement on gentle terrain at a park in Panorama Hills. The age limit is done out of consideration of the available equipment as well as ensuring participants can understand and follow instructor’s guidance. Please meet the instructor at the location and arrive 20 minutes early to get ready for the class. Wear clothing that is loose, comfortable & layered for: cold, sunny, dry or snowing conditions. Please avoid materials with cotton in them (like jeans), as they retain moisture that will keep you wet & cold.

Movie at Landmark Cinemas – Landmark Cinemas Country Hills

Enjoy a fun-filled movie experience at Landmark Cinemas! Join us for a special movie event at Landmark Cinema Country Hills. Sit back, relax, and enjoy a blockbuster on the big screen with friends and family. Please arrive early to check in and buy your snacks before the show begins! Seats will be General Admission.
Those registered will get to vote on which movie we will watch! Please note that the movie will be family friendly and older than 2023. Additional information, including the movie voting options, will be announced on January 10. Register before then to be able to cast your vote.

Cupid’s Canvas: A Valentine’s Art – $25 – 91 Millbank Drive SW

No experience necessary—just bring your imagination and let Cupid guide your brush! Don’t miss this unique opportunity to celebrate the season of love with art and community.
Supplies and equipment will be provided by the instructor.

Celebrate Family Day with your Panorama Hills community! This family-friendly event includes horse-drawn wagon rides, an exciting scavenger hunt, delicious s’mores, and more. Whether you’re exploring with loved ones or catching up with neighbors, this event is the perfect opportunity to create warm, lasting memories. Register online to be kept in the loop about any event specific updates.
