The PHRA is taking a proactive approach to help protect the water that we all depend on as we anticipate that City of Calgary water restrictions will continue to go in effect if we do not receive a substantial amount of rain. Therefore:
- We will reduce grass watering efforts and will follow City restrictions
- We will use drought resistant grass seed with all repairs
- Although our flower orders were placed last fall, we are exploring drought-tolerant plants that can be added this year and in the future.
- We will invest in rain barrels to capture as much rain as possible.
