To enter, simply carve your most spooky, funny, or imaginative pumpkin, take a photo of your masterpiece, and scan the QR code to submit your entry by October 23 at 12 PM (noon). If you just want to vote, don’t forget to register as well! The voting link will be emailed on October 24 to those who registered, and you’ll have until October 30 at 4 PM to cast your vote for your favorite pumpkins. Winners will be contacted on October 31, just in time for Halloween! It’s a fun and festive way to get crafty, show off your creativity, and maybe even snag a prize, so don’t miss out!

Online Pumpkin Carving Contest Full Rules
Here’s how you can participate:
- Carve your pumpkin at home and show off your creativity! There are two categories:
- Under 18
- 18 and older
- Submit your entry:
- Take a photo of your carved pumpkin.
- Scan the QR code to submit your entry. Each person may submit only one entry with a single carved pumpkin. The information will be kept private and used only for contest administration.
- Entry Period:
- The contest begins on October 13 and ends on October 23 at noon 12 PM.
- Voting and Display:
- All entries will be displayed in an online gallery from 10 AM on October 24 to 4 PM on October 30.
- Members of the Panorama Hills Residents Association (PHRA) can vote for their favorite pumpkin in each category during this period.
- Please note: This is a digital-only contest. Do not attempt to drop off your pumpkin at the Panorama Hills Community Centre.
- Winner Selection:
- The pumpkins with the most votes in each category will be the winners.
- Winners will be contacted before 4 PM on October 31.
- Prizes:
- Winners in each category will receive a $50 Visa gift card.
- Registration:
Participants and voters, please register via PerfectMind. The voting link will only be sent to those who are registered on October 24 10 AM. Every member of the household can vote for submissions in both categories. We ask that everyone only complete voting once.
Pumpkin Carving Guidelines and Rules:
- Participants must be members of PHRA.
- Pumpkins must be carved – painting or decorating without carving won’t be accepted.
- No inappropriate content – family-friendly designs only.
- When you submit your photo, include your name, address, and age category. This information will be kept private and used only for contest administration.
- Voting will be anonymous, and everyone is encouraged to vote during the event.

- Participants must be good-standing members of the Panorama Hills Residents Association (PHRA).
- If under the age of 18, participants must have parental or guardian consent to enter.
- Privacy and Data Protection:
- Personal information collected during the contest will be used solely for the purpose of administering the contest and will not be shared with third parties without consent.
- By entering the contest, participants consent to the use of their name, photo, and entry for promotional purposes without additional compensation.
- Disqualification:
- Entries that are incomplete, irregular, or submitted through illicit means will be disqualified.
- The contest organizers reserve the right to disqualify any entry that does not comply with the rules.
- Liability:
- The contest organizers are not responsible for any technical issues, lost entries, or any other issues that may arise during the contest.
- The contest organizers are not liable for any damages or losses resulting from participation in the contest or the acceptance of the prize.
- General Conditions:
- The contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws and regulations.
- The contest organizers reserve the right to cancel, suspend, or modify the contest at any time without notice, if any fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond their reasonable control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the contest.
