DESIGN
PHASE
In early 2021, the Capital Development Committee issued a Request for Proposals for a Project Manager. By engaging with a Project Manager at this point in the process, we are able to ensure that we have all relevant information available to present to our Members as we come to discuss and discover more about a potential expansion project at the Panorama Hills Community Centre.
After reviewing several applications, and considering a number of presentations and interviews, the NSRA Capital Development Committee engaged with Lawson Projects to help guide us through this process. They will:
Engage with all community Stakeholders through a variety of events and opportunities
Define usage requirements
Create Project Plan
Create Schedules
Identify the cost of expansion
After a Project Manager was selected and the project plan was created by Lawson Projects guided us through the rest of the process. A Requests for Proposals for a Architect was issued and the Capital Development Committee in partnership with Lawson Projects selected an Architect for the project. BRZ Partnership Architecture Inc. was selected.
BRZ Architects will:
Review all feedback from member surveys and Capital Development Committee
Define operational needs requirements
Create facility designs and concepts
Identify all building standards and building code requirements
Prepare permits and information for a General Contractor
BRZ has proposed this amazing 13,000 square foot design.
The approximate cost of $5.5 million dollars.
