On Saturday, April 26, we had the pleasure of experiencing an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of one of Calgary’s most iconic landmarks — the Calgary Central Library!
Our group gathered under the “Tours” signage in the Welcome Gallery and spent the hour immersed in the story, structure, and symbolism behind this stunning piece of architecture. From its sweeping wooden curves and luminous atrium to vibrant artwork and cutting-edge design, every corner of the library offered something inspiring.
🎧 Whether we were marveling at the massive headphone sculpture or exploring the thoughtful Indigenous art installations, the tour offered a unique lens into the cultural and architectural heart of our city.
This experience wasn’t just about admiring beautiful spaces — it was about appreciating the craftsmanship and community vision that brought the Central Library to life.
