These compact BBQs are designed for recreational use and are the only propane-powered units approved for use in our outdoor park spaces.

The following equipment is not allowed in the park:

  • Large propane BBQs
  • BBQs connected to 20 lb propane tanks
  • Oversized cooking equipment or grills requiring larger fuel cylinders

No exceptions can be made, as these restrictions are in place to help protect park users and maintain a safe environment.

Using the Charcoal Fire Pits

Our park also features designated charcoal fire pits that visitors are welcome to use.

When using the fire pits:

  • Use charcoal briquettes only.
  • Please bring your own charcoal, fire starter, lighter, or matches.
  • PHCC does not provide fuel or lighting supplies.
  • Ensure all charcoal is completely extinguished before leaving.

Please use only the designated fire pits—charcoal BBQs and open fires are not permitted elsewhere in the park.

Enjoy Your Visit

These guidelines help ensure the park remains a safe, clean, and enjoyable place for everyone throughout the summer.

If you’re reserving the gazebo or have questions about what equipment is permitted, please contact our team before your visit. We’re happy to help you prepare so you can spend less time worrying about logistics and more time enjoying your day in the park.
